The Composer

Molly loves music. She'll bounce to anything with a good beat, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Metallica, you name it. If it has a solid rythm she will bounce her feet in the car seat, bop her head around if she is sitting, or dance her little feet if she is standing. She loves turning the stereo receiver on and off and the volume dial up and down.

With music makers, similar to our experience has been with food, she prefers the adult version to the baby version.

At dinner last night at Aunt Jeanne's. Cousin Bronwyn plopped her Molly down infront of the piano with her. She immediately began banging on the keys and composing her own sanata.

She would play for a bit, then pause to turn the page, and would not play more until the page was turned. She would finish a book and request the next. All the while enjoying our applause at the end of each movement.

I think we'll have spend more time with her on her own real piano.
