Trina start having some contractions at 11:00 last night. She woke me at 1:00 a.m. when they started getting stronger. By 3:00 the contractions were down to under 5 minutes apart, so we called the hospital (as instructed in birthing classes there). They suggested we come in.
So we did.
Trina was hooked up to the monitor and we watched contractions and baby heart beats for about an hour. They figured she has a while yet and since labor usually progresses faster in the comfort of you home, they gave her a shot of something good in her butt and sent us home for a while.
She's stoned and in the bath tub.
It's 5:00 a.m. now, might have to make some breakfast soon.
